The XSign Online Privacy Statement explains how all of XSign’s services, including document signing, manage data. Below, we address common questions specific to XSign. If you have additional questions, please refer to the full XSign Privacy Statement.

XSign Permissions

  • Push Notifications: We send notifications for login requests or security alerts. You can deny this permission but will need to approve requests manually.
  • Camera Access: We only use your camera to scan QR codes for quick account setup. We do not access your photos.
  • Google Drive Access: On Android, XSign can back up accounts to a Google Drive folder but cannot access other files.
  • Usage Analytics: We use anonymized data to improve the app. You can disable analytics in settings.
  • Crash Reporting: We monitor crashes to improve app stability and fix bugs.

Data XSign Collects

  • User Data: XSign does not access your contacts, messages, photos, or other apps. It only knows the service accounts you add.
  • Device State: For secure logins, we collect device security data like biometric settings and OS version. This ensures compliance with your organization’s policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use your data solely for providing and improving our service. XSign communicates only with our cloud service and an anonymized analytics provider.

Data Security

We employ robust safeguards to ensure your data is secure. Access is limited to you and authorized personnel.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as needed to provide our services. Once no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize your information.

Opting Out

You can opt out of usage data collection in the app settings. Your organization’s administrator can also disable data analytics for the entire organization.
